Memory speed related to CPU FSB?

Hello

I am in the process of a new build and have a question regarding memory and CPU FSB speeds

I want to buy an intel core 2 duo and wonder if to go with one of the current models (E6600 probebly) or one of the refresh models (E6650 etc)

The main difference between the older and the refresh models are the higher FSB in the new models (from 1066MHz to 1333MHz, except in one refresh model which is still 1066MHz FSB)

First, I assume I need a MB that supports the CPU FSB of the CPU I am buying, or the CPU FSB will drop to whatever the MB supports max?

Second, just a question about 2 core 2 duo models, older and refresh: the X6800 (extreme) and the new E6800 refresh, they both have the same specs, same clock speed, cache, FSB, anyone knows what is the difference? why did they release one new model equivalent to the older extreme, or is there something different?

I am getting a 800mhz (6400) Memory, and wonder if its related to the CPU FSB speeds

Will the CPU FSB speed drop (from 1333MHz or 1066MHz, whatever I will get) from their default value to a lower value because of that memory I am getting?

I sorta dont understand what you are trying to say(english is my second language)
but if you are asking does your fsb drop to the same speed as your ram if ur ram speed is lower I dont belive this is the case actualy im pretty sure your fsb wont drop because of you having a lower ram speed.(my fsb on my laptop is 400 and my ram is 333 but my fsb stays the same) glad to help.

As for your answer, will I have better performance if I will buy a 1333Mhz FSB CPU, than a 1066MHz FSB CPU (using it on a MB that supports that speed of course) (and using a 800mhz ddr2 memory)?

I assume there will be a benefit because of the higher number, but will it be noticeble, and when will I see a be benefit, in programs, games...?

Also, is 800mhz DDR2 memory considered good, will there be much difference between that and faster memory, like 1000mhz?
