Ok. Here it is. I have CORSAIR XMS2 2 gigs DDR2-800 currently installed. I was manually setting the timings on it the other day and i bumped into this feature. " Memory remap feature". I did some reading and it says that if I am going to four gigs , which I am If I enable this it will give me better performance. Whats the scoop? Asus P5b deluxe and a conroe 2.4. My OS is XP 32 bit.

It will make all the ram available to the cpu when you reach a certain threshold, typically around 3 GB. And then you'll need a OS that can go beyond 4G
