Crucial's good, as long as you won't be overclocking the RAM and you don't care about latency...

I agree with the guy that said Mushkin, Corsair, or Kingston.

^^ That's not entirely true. As with any brand, it just depends on what timings you want, as to how good it OCs. IMO, one of the best brands for stability, is without a doubt, Crucial.

My bro-in-law put two 256 sticks of Crucial pc3200 in his new computer, running dual channel. We OCed to test the system out overall, got his P4 2.4c up to 3.0 with no problem what so ever. He's since added two more sticks of Crucial and is happy.

You can get Mushkin PC3200 lvl 1 1GB dual pack for $205 on newegg and its some of the best RAM out now.

Logically, a few sticks of Crucial will OC well. But, your forgetting that comments are about a whole brand. In general, Crucial does not overclock well. The chances of getting some Crucial sticks that OC well is a lot less than HyperX, Corsair XMS, or Mushkin. When I build PCs for non-DIY'ers, who don't overclock, I always use Crucial. It's cheap and stable. For performance oriented people, I use Corsair or HyperX.
