I wanna buy some corsair mem but i dunno what should i choose between 2x512mb at 2-2-2-5 or 2x1gb at 3-3-3-8. And is there any other good brand i should consider buying if i want to overclock my mem?


BTW, my system specs: K8N NEO 4 Plat
3500 Athlon 64
MSI 6800 128mb
 
I would say if you're not going to play BF2 or EQ2 then forget the 2gb of RAM and get the 2x512. Crucial Ballistix are great O/Cers and the Crucial Value sticks are good O/Cers (and cheaper).
 
EQ2 wont use 2 gigs, nor will more ram help eq2.........its all cpu/connection/video card based

Oops... I recalled reading several posts where EQ was a RAM hog... My mistake! BF2, however, WILL benefit from 2gb of RAM. (if you still trust me... hehe)
