Hey just got my second pair of General Mushkin(Not the Expensive Stuff) and when I populate the second controller the system will not post. Im trying to get my system to 2 gig. Now when I remove one Dimm Slot4(the last one on the right) When I remove it leaving 3 dimms in it boots and posts. I think I got a bum stick what do you guys think ? Any other options.
 
Try taking the suspected "bum" stick and putting in the frist available slot, meaning remove all the ram but that one stick. If it doesn't boot, you know its bad if not, its a differant problem.
 
I ordered the exact same sticks from newegg. Mushkin Enhanced memory not the high end stuff but im not looking to overclock or anything atm
