Memory Overclock question

so I have been running an i5-4670k at 4.4 ghz @ 1.35 v with my RAM at 2133 @1.61v. I was hitting a wall at 4.5 and up, so i raised Vrin to 2.1v and vcore almost all the way up to 1.45v and i still wasnt IBT stable. after about 3-4 runs i would BSOD with a code 101, or 124 (124 is my most common).
So my question is this (ill list specs at the bottom of post), is the memory overclock something i should definitely consider a culprit, i.e. should i turn it off and see what my stability is, and then try to OC the ram even though the RAM was stable@ 4.5ghz?
im running
MSI Z97 Gaming 7
i5-4670k @ 4.6 and 1.44v
24gb Crucial Elite DDR3 BLE8G3D1869DE1TX0
1000w CorsairHX1000

If testing at lower RAM speed doesn't help, you're probably at the CPU's limit.
