Ultra ECC Registered Dual Channel 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory (2 x 512MB)

I had OCZ before I liked it. How is the Ultra memory any one have any experience with their products?
 
neither...OCZ sux and i've never heard of "Ultra"

get Mushkin or Corsair...you won't be disappointed
 
Do you have an FX-51? Why are you buying registered DIMM's? They are slower then unbuffered DIMM's. OCZ is doing alot better with their memory than they use to but still i've noticed under heavy stress tests it causes errors just running at its rated speeds.

Stick with Mushkin, Corsair, or Kingston. Mushkin is the best and always will be with the kind of quality service they put out.

I just bought 1GB Mushkin PC3200 lvl 1 2-3-2-5 $200. Great RAM.
 
I'll add Crucial to the list, if your not OCing, excellent RAM. Other than that, I have no experience with OCZ, but have heard bad things... Two parts not to skimp on are RAM and HDD. These thing manipulate and store your data, if you value your data don't compromise either.
 
1. I use Opteron Dually 246
2. Unfortunatly Corsair PC 3200 Registered ram is on back order. I would get that then.
3. Mushkin is rather elusive to get in Canada. If some one knows where to buy mushikin in Canada online that be great. I don't like ordering from states takes to bloody long.
4. I have already made 3 X 1024mb sticks Of Corsair PC 2700 Registered Ram Fail. So I am kinda looking for something else.
 
I have heard bad things about OCZ, and really bad customer service when you have a problem. That was about a year ago though, maybe better.

Ultra is the brand Tigerdirect carries, I would not try aggressive timing with it, Crucial is a better way to go, if you want to OC than Mushkin or Corsair, in my humble opinion.
 
Opterons don't overclock well :) So No Ocing I just want pc3200 ram. The OCZ memory is 2.3.2.6 Ultra is 2.3.3.7 T1 Spec.(comes in a nice wooden box coincidentally from tigerdirect.ca)
I built 146 Opty Machine and it was absolutly smokin on a Sk8n with Corsair Memory.

Corsair RMA is kinda LONG. Although no Probs with the procedure. I had OCZ memory in my p4 Rig ran great no probs never dealt with their support.
