Memory keeps rising!

i dont have anything open nor im downloading anything.

my memory keeps rising on its own and its at 70% and rising.

does anyone know what is going on?

when i go to Windows Task Manager and click on Resource Monitor is shows that "svchost" is eating up my ram.

what the F is going here? ive never had this problem before.

can anyone help?

when i unplug my internet wire from my pc everything becomes normal.

as soon as i plug it back in everything starts to shoot up, memory and cpu.
 
Look at yourTask Manager and see what is eating up all the memory. Or find and download Process Explorer and use it.
 
Definitely sounded like a virus or memory leak. Were you running A/V when the problem started?
 
I was going to say virus. Sounds like you got the problem taken care of.
