Hey all,
I'm building a system based of an A10-7870K and have two memory kits I'm looking at. From what I understand these chips work with 2133mhz memory with no overclocking? Both kits are 2133 based on this.
One is 11-11-11-31 @ 1.5v and the other is 9-11-11-31 @ 1.6v. Both are the same price or I'd just go with the cheaper.
Any reason to not go with the slightly better timings? I remember reading at some point in the past about sticking to lower voltages with certain Intel setups due to higher heat in the memory controller. Does this apply to AMD chips as well?
Thanks!
