Memory errors -- bad RAM or mobo?

I'm running 4gb (2x2gb) of DDR2 PC6400 OCZ memory on an Asus P5E motherboard. After a power outage a few months ago, I started noticing random crashes et cetera, so I ran memtest. Turns out I had quite a few errors so I RMA'ed the memory to OCZ. Just today I had a blue screen so I ran memtest again which reported hundreds of errors on 4 or 5 memory locations.

Anyone else have this experience with OCZ? How likely is it that I got 2 sets of bad sticks from OCZ? Is it more likely something is wrong with my motherboard or my setup? I don't overclock any hardware. My temperatures are a little high I think: CPU at 38 C and system at 48 C according to Asus AI Suite, and the RAM is pretty hot to the touch. Could this be the cause?

Any tips or suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks.

I just memtest the DIMMs individually and only one has errors. The other is fine.

2 out of 3 pairs of OCZ Gold PC6400 failed MemTest86 on me when I ran both sticks in each pair, and on 2 out of 3 visits to the store (Fry's), I met someone else returning the same model OCZ memory.

I've had lots of failed DDR and DDR2 memory modules, none with chips marked with the full part numbers.
