Deleted data from memory cards, flash drive, HDD's can be recovered using nifty utilities.
Even formatting (not the quick format) doesn't save you.

However this is only possible until that storage device is overwritten with new data.

This is precisely what is the crux of the matter here.

I am looking for a professional application with a good deal of menu options which will allow me to ..

create multiple copies of a file chosen by me , over the entire space available with the storage device (thereby removing the possibility of recovering private data, other than the file which has been copied all over the drive.)

any software you know of .. (with NON amateur menus) share em...

Anyways just use the sysinternals Secure Delete tool.
