Well it wasn't too long ago when these components were considered high-end. Here is my old Athlon at a whopping 850mhz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to have a K-5 as well and a system based on the Cyrix chip. Oh why did I get rid of them? :(

I still can't remember if this is a Voodoo2 or the Banshee.
 
I had the original Athlons as well lol. That was my first AMD too. Then got a P3 733. Then an Athlon 2500+ (sold to a friend) and now my P4 2.4. So the next processor I get will prolly be an AMD the way things are going lol.

You actually are probably right considering the year, 1999.
 
sorry, but that stuff isnt old. i have a couple penitum 133 systems in my closet, which i dont consider vintage computer hardware.
 
I still have my Tandy 486 collecting dust and mold in my moms old house basement.

25mhz/12mb Ram/ Windows 3.11/DOS 6.88

im afraid of what beast might of nested withia.. eeek..
 
and a quick question about voodoo.. what was the Voodoo card that had 4 gpu's and 4 heatsink fans.... quickly after that.. the company bellied up

Well I did reference the K-5 and the Cyrix. I had systems based on those as well. I am still lamenting that I didn't save my first computer, a 386SX@16 mhz I think and it had a gargantuan 2mb RAM. I believe my HD was 40 mb or something like that.
 
SlotA Athlon.. sweet.. my 14 years old bro didn't even know there were Athlons like that :p
As for the voodoo - yeah it's V3 3000.. I used to have the V3 2000 PCI.. I loved the 3Dfx animation when launching glide games...
