I've seen in a couple adds this morning that memorex DVD media is on sale. At CompUSA they have a spindle of 25 for $25 and at Staples they have packs of 10 with jewel cases for $10.
Good deal and their cd's are usually manufactured by Ritek. Ritek dvd-+R media is currently one of the most compatible media available; for pc and standalone players. Alternatively you can get Ritek 4X media a lil cheaper online here: http://www.ekatomi.com/ritek_dvd-r_media_4x.shtml
I took the best buy ad into staples for the 50 pack memorex for $50 and they 110% PMed it. so around $.90 a disc +tax for some high quality media. Plus the BB is instant so no waiting for rebates.
Memorex uses many companies (CMC, Ritek, Prodisc, Infodisc, Postech) to make thier CD-R, CD-RW and DVD products its always a crapshoot on quality and you never know what youre getting.
BTW Memorex CD-RW's are junk and should be avoided.
