I have an old Gateway server setup with 2 raid arrays, raid 1 and 5. I got a new hard drive, same model / speed / firmware to replace the failed drive. I can't get the MegaRAID controller to see the new HD. I tried through the BIOS and the MegaRAID GUI from within windows server 2003 but still cant see it. I thought it might be a jumper issue but its running that smart id. I did verify the jumper settings, which was 0 just to make sure. Possible that I got a bad HD?
