Just got my Megahalems with the AM2/AM3 bracket installed, and this thing is amazing. With my X4 940 at 3.78GHz at 1.52v, my temp has yet to go above 48c. Of course, I am using two 1600rpm Scythe Slipstreams. I know this thread isn't really helpful to most people, but I wanted to post this to help any people who are wondering what's the best air-cooler for the Phenom II.

*Edit* Just had my first crash. Had to raise the voltage to 1.535v, and my temp has now topped out at 50c. Still amazing for a quiet air solution.

I have a True here with push/pull and keep meaning to try it on my phenom 9850.

For some reason i'm loving amd/ati right now(4890/4870 in my rigs), must be the great performance with low price :) (though my main rig is an I7)
 
AMD/ATI have been on a roll with great performance for us on a budget. It's absolutely amazing the performance per dollar the "Dragon" platform has. And its nice to know that your CPU and GPU won't have any compatibility issues. Almost like a console, but actually worthwhile.
