Sorry if this is noob or in the wrong forum

I'm trying to figure out the best, simplest (cheapest) way to wireless share (mostly video) content between a mac laptop, a windows pc, and a television. I've been using an external so far, but running it back and forth is annoying. I know there are some products you put an external on that put them on the wireless network as a storage device, but I'm not sure how thatd work with my tv, or if theres a slightly nicer option.

I'm pretty clueless so any help is appreciated.
