Measuring Internal Pressure

I was wondering if anyone knew of a relatively cheap way to quantitatively measure the pressure inside my case. I have been experiencing annoying tempterature flucutations when I put my side panel on and would like to quantitate the pressure to see if I need to add, or remove fans.
 
The pressure inside a case is going to be so low(relative to atmospheric) that you will need a very sensitive gauge to measure it, which will probably be quite expensive. There are so many holes and other ways for air to escape that I doubt your case pressure would be much different than atmospheric. I don't really see how that would help anyway. Perhaps you should analyze your airflow to make sure you don't have any stagnant areas inside your case.
 
Use smoke matches, you light them and the produce a greyish white smoke, and you could use it to see your air flow

if i did that the smoke would be in the front and out the back before i move my eye to see

using smoke, no matter how fast the flow, will still show you if there are any dead spots or problems with the placement of your fans.

i have used like 10 sticks of incense at once on several cases, and the 'smoke' method has been very successful for me in solving airflow problems.

Well it wouldn't just be a single burst of smoke. There would be a continuous flow of smoke so that you can determine dead spots and such.

oh, when i envisioned a match i thought of it as one burst
 
lol, I didnt know my suggestion would be so popular... heh heh... I havnt even used it myself, I saw it on the screensavers on tech tv, but they used canned smoke, which would be about 2x the price of smoke matches
 
I like to use note cards for flow testing. Just tape it on one end over an outlet and watch how much it lifts. For smaller areas, you can simply cut it into smaller pieces. Smoke works well too.
 
A simple but pretty accurate method is with a plastic U shaped hose. Put some water in it and use the level of the water as a pressure meter. Put one leg of the U inside your case, the other outside. Mark the level of the water with the fan off. Switch the fan on and see if the water level moves up. The amount it moves up in inches / mm indicates the amount of pressure your fan produces...
