My temps used to be like 45C idle and 49-50 Load. Now its 49 Idle and 55 Load. What could have caused my CPu to raise temps. I am not overclocked.

in descending order

ambient temperatue the thermal resistance (C/W) changes with the ambient temperature

dust (degrades the heat transfer interface, acts as a down comforter)

interior or exterior airflow pattern changed (reloacte your computer recently?, add any components?)

sunlight on your case (radiant heat collection)

heatsink could have been shifted\knocked

thermal grease degraded

ect

highly recommended

currently @ 26C idle, 24C sys, 39C load, w\1800+ Aircooled & AC

It's not a HSF, it's thermal compound. You put it between the processor core and the heatsink which can enable lower temps. :D

Thank i will thinkg about getting it. BUt i heard ABit's are 8-10 degrees off when it comes to temps. is that true?

this is true but it does not explain ur sudden temp increase

ur sudden temp increase is most likely due to dust

open up ur case and clean out the dust, mostly the dust on ur HSF
