Hi All
Need a little advice from somebody who has tried the mcw55 with the 1/2" to 1/2" Barbs for use with a APEX kit.
My problem is I cannot get the barbs into the mcw55 without fear of snapping the grey collets.
Please help i am new to this.
Also I am installing this block onto a x800XTPE, should i use ram sinks?

I have the MCW55 with 1/2 to 1/2 barb adapters. They just push in pretty easily, removing them is more difficult, but doable.

i use them as well and I've never had a problem getting them in. out is another story :p

also don't forget to clamp those hoses down really well if you're using barbs. i recommend using the worm clamps.

Thanks for advice.
Washing liquid is supposed to help says swiftech so i will try that.
I have just got some hose clamps 13 -16mm so hopefully they will do the trick.
