Hi friends, i have just ordered a mcw50 gpu block to use with my Ati 9800, but i do have 8 Microcool chipsinks already installed on the memory.
They are 18 mm tall. Anybody can help me if the ramsinks would block the tubing ???:(
Thanks a lot..

Hmmm, well let me help you.

I think it won't fit, your ramsinks are too high.

I have the pelt version (thus it is already higher), and 1cm high ramsinks and it barely fits with tubing installed. I have like 3mm left.

You'll have to remove them, I just hope you didn't silver epoxied them.

But wait and try before to remove.

Your post somewhat lacks explanation topcat989

But well, maybe if you tried with 90 degrees elbows it might work, but don't take my idea for truth. It's just a suggestion.

Of course swiftech don't sell these so you'll have to mod them yourselves.

Good luck!

yes, thanks __caligula2,
i would use an elbow in one outlet and bend the other tubing. It may fit..:D

gawd those mosfet heatsinks are so expensive.. you should've cutup an old socket 370 heatsink or something :p
