would it be bad to just clamp 1/2" tubing to it? i really like the idea of saving a lot of room by combining the two of them.

what he's talking about is the top mod. You mod it so that barb on the top is facing upwards. Increases the flow up to the 655's level.

I have a DDC (350) hooked to my Cuplex XT right now and I love it. The thing pushes some water even without the mod and is near silent to boot.

Not to mention small enough that you can bearly see it in my system.

I'm seriously considering running a Storm block of it in my other rig and just doing the top mod. I know the Storm likes the 655 better, and I'm planning on having GPU block too.

The DDC just looks sleek and sexy to me compared to the comparatively massive 655.

I'm still trying to dig up a guide to doing the mod which is what I think you're after.

I _think_ there is a pre-modded one available from Alpha-Cool but I'm not sure, that may not be a top outlet mod.

wow that's pretty good. too bad they couldn't mod the outlet to 1/2" as well haha

I think I like the idea of having it all fit in a 5.25 bay with the resevoir though so I may not do this mod.

dude I would mod it, its well worth it. you would roll on the 1250
