Hey Guys,

I'm looking to regulate the speed of a Swiftech MCP35X PWM pump. I'm a noob when it comes to understanding how this can be accomplished and/or how the speed of a PWM pump can be regulated.

Is it possible to fine tune the RPM of the pump to whatever speed I want in the specified range using a dial control or is it only possible to regulate the RPM in steps (low, med, high,etc)

What I envision, it being capable of regulating the RPM to whatever speed I like between the specified range using a fan controller. Is this possible?

You could plug it into your motherboard, but my board (P6X58D Premium) only has preset options like silent, balanced, high-performance (those aren't the exact options). It's possible other boards may have more granular controls.
 
Regarding the use of the Motherboard versus a tangible controller, are you needing to access the BIOS to do this or a seperate program?
