Just got my loop up and running on my mini itx. im using an mcp 350 and its letting out a pretty high pitched and very annoying whine. I tried to capture it on video but you cant really hear it over the "hum" of the camera, which seems odd to me because its loud as balls. anyways Im wondering if these pump have a normally loud running noise, or if I seem to have an isolated problem. Its not air bubbles, and I dont think im being too sensitive to the noise because I had an mcp655 that didnt bother me at all. vibration (against the case) is also ruled out as I have pulled the pump out of the case and am running it ontop of a piece of foam on my desk

My 350 and 355 were dead silent, but it could be going bad or failing. Did you use a pump top and when you filled the loop did you run it dry on accident? If you used a pump top and tightened it too much you could have killed it.

no its new and completely stock, im guessing its a bad pump. The guy I bought it form said he had a bunch, so hopefully I can swap it out with him
