No, Dell mobos are built as cheaply as possible, there are no temperature monitoring diodes on any Dell mobo. Basically forget about MBM with any Dell mobo.

Just another thing Dell doesn't do that annoys the heck out of advanced users.

what are you guys talking about?

I have a dell 400SC and it has temp sensers.

The mobo it uses is an intel mobo but branded as a dell.

Or you could just try it. Your motherboard isn't going to blow up if you use motherboard monitor and don't have a temperature sensor.

If you have an Intel manufacture board ... you can download a active monitor utility from Intel's website ... this gives you temp and fan speed reading ... you'll have to do some research as to which one you need ...

i have a dell and cant get mbm to register anything.

i dont worry about it. this isnt my end all machine anyway.

There's a motherboard monitor SIX?
Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Though it looks like a typo, with the six being right beside the five...
