MB recommendation

I'm currently in the process of doing a few upgrades for my rig. (getting a couple "free" upgrades from a build I am doing for a friend)

I'm currently running a pII x4 955, ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 AM3, xfx 6870, corsair hx620w ps, 8gigs of corsair "value ram", WD velicraptor 150gig, and CM v8 Cooler.

The new parts I will be getting is a amd x6 1090t cpu, xfx 6970, and I need help picking out a full atx motherboard

I'd like the option of being able to crossfire down the road, but dont want to spend anymore than 120ish on the MB (confused about this board and the pcie x16 and x4 numbers)

I'm going with a x6 and 6970 now to try to make this pc last as long as possible with having the ability to throw in another gpu down the road

Is this mb a good pick for these other components? I want to stick with ASUS also

At $128 shipped, that motherboard isn't that good of a choice for the money IMO. Maybe if it was $110 shipped or even $120 shipped, it would be a good choice. But at $128 shipped, it's just way too close to this better motherboard in price:
$150 - Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AMD 890GX ATX Motherboard

If you want to stick with Asus and your $120 budget, then I recommend this mobo:
$110 - Asus M4A87TD EVO AMD 870 ATX Motherboard
