Maze 4 GPU block mounting

I've been all over the internet and back.

I'd like to mount an old Maze 4 GPU Acetal version to my ATI 5770.

The holes look like they match up, but I can't find what thread size the main holes are.
I found specs for the smallest outer, and smaller inner, but not the main large holes.

I took the hex screws out, and best match was #6 screw with 32 thread.
I got some #6-32 all thread to use, but somehow it looks bigger. It doesn't thread in very nicely, which is leading me to reconsider.
Any help would be great. Thanks!

Why not just take the block to your local home improvement store and try out a bunch of different sizes. Unfortunately as you probably know DD went out of business awhile ago so you can't ask them :)
 
Unfortunately, Home Depot doesn't have very many exotic screws on selection. I'd like to try an M4 or M3.5, but they are all special order.
 
You might try a local hardware store instead of a big box store if you can find one. Might be your only shot to find what you need at this point.
 
Try #4-40 as the pdf you link shows. If that doesn't work and the 6-32 doesn't thread in right you might want to take the block and screws to home depot if there is one near you and check and make sure that's actually a 6-32 rod. Home Depot also have a thread guide bolted to the uprights in the screw aisle that has threaded studs you can use to check hole size on. I don't think they have #4-40 outside of small screws up you can check the thread at least

Danger Den to me knowledge didn't use metric screws only imperial.

They should have metric in a cabinet of drawers in the same aisle as the rest of the hardware. I just bought out all of their M3 washers at my local home depot last week for my build. Took me awhile to find their metric stuff because it was pretty well hidden.
