I have an opteron 144 @ 1.50vcore @ 2.7GHZ with a DD TDX, BIP 240 sythe 60cfm fans and a lang DCC plus with plexi res and top (alphacool)

I am getting 38*c idle and about 48*C load.

I am thinking my TDX is obstructed, but i dont want to dismantle loop if i dont need to. do these temps seem high???

thanks

should I use vinigar and run through loop or take apart TDX?

yes they seem very high, i get about the same temps with my hyper 6+ with the same volts

try re installing ur cpu block w/ AS5. maybe there is no good contact thre. and check your airflow.

yeah i have a 120 delta 100+ cfm intake and an 80mm panaflo exaust plus my RAD espells air from top of case.

we will see. I am gone this weekend but monday I will redo my loop :(

Man I took apart the block and it was clear.....

but at 1.5vcore I am running 40* idle and 50* load. if i lower my vcore to 1.35(default) then i get 33* idle and 37* load.

it is like 100+*F outside here and in my room is about 80* so maybe my ambient is keeping my temps high.....

only CPU cooled on a BIP 240 with sythe 60cfm fans (air coming from radiator is warm but not hot)
DD TDX with Lain DCC plus with alphacool res and top.

cannot figure this out.

i get better cooling with my thermatake SI-92 :(

might be just a bad core that dont react well temp wise with voltage.

May be a combination of things. You may want to verify your mount (that is, check for any characteristic flaws in settled TIM) and verify the flowrate of your pump both restricted and unrestricted. Also, check for tubing kinks which may be severely limiting flowrates.

But, by all means, don't take what your onboard sensor reports as the gospel.

okay, yeah tomorrow I am going to disconnect the pump and pump some water in/out of buckets to time flow rate. And yes maybe my core is just hot but this seems quite hot. :(

not that it really matters because after the AMD price drops I will be buying a 165 or x3800 so doesnt really matter as long as it will last till august :)

Okay I am now runnign 1.525vcore on my opty 144 @ 2.8 so a good OC and my idle is 37* and load is 45-47* I am using artic silver and I have used artic alumina and it seems like a good seat to me.

again I have a BIP 120X2 with 2 sythe 65cfm 120mm fans (changed it intake throught the radiator) a Laind DCC plus pump with the alphacool reservior and top for the pump. I only have a DD TDX in my loop and I want to add my 7800gtx and NB to the loop but not with these temps... :( I just bought an inovatek 120.1 radiator that i am going to mount on the intake 120 or my Lian Li and add it to my loop. then add the maze4 GPU and NB cooler and we will see what happens.

I am going on vacation for 2 weeks so when i get back I will update. thanks for the help
