Hey guys, so I got a new LianLi V1000Z this weekend and I want to hide the wires the best that I can in it. I have laid out a good path for all the wires to take, but some of them will be behind the motherboard.....NOT the motherboard tray. Is it ok to run wires behind the motherboard, like in between the back of the board and the motherboard tray?

Probably okay, but there's is a chance there will be some EMI related effect causing odd behavior. Make sure the wires aren't pinched and there are no sharp points that will work through insulation over time.

What I mean is that there would be a few wires like the ATX power cable running behind the board but in front of the tray, maybe a few SATA wires also.

You're fine to run cables under the motherboard.

SATA cables *might* pose a TINY problem, but I seriously doubt it.

I've run all kinds of cables under the mobo.

That's what I thought you meant. Just use some common sense and it should be fine.
