I am just embarking on my first W/cooled rig..... components are on thier way to me

Thinking ahead .... how easy it is to drain the system and add more components into the loop when the system is full with fluid ? is is necessary to drain the system every time you want to add components to the loop. if so, how do you do it ?

I will be using danger den components to cool the cpu and gpu using fill line rather than a reservoirs

sorry if this is a stupid question

I haven't wc'd, so take this with a grain of salt.

Any time you take/add something to a closed loop, you have to open it. If you have a loop full of water and you open it, water will exit the loop where you open it, unless you drain it.

so, unless you want to get your PC soaked, you'd probably need to drain it before you add/remove stuff from the loop. :p I would suggest putting a drain port thing close to the bottom of your loop, but that's me.

I don't know the anwer to this either, but you will have better success posting in the Water Cooling sub-forum. ;)
