I posted this in the amd motherboard section, not much help there.

I recently bought the neo2 platinum motherboard and the amd 3500+ winchester processor. I have 2 ide hard drives, one is an 80gb (keep windows on this) and the other is 250gb (used for storage). Normally after a format I have to install the DDO drivers from the maxblast boot disk so windows can recognize my 250gb hard drive. But now when I try to run maxblast with my new setup it wont load. It loads the Caldera DOS program, but when its supposed to load maxblast it just sits there with a blinking undercore. Any ideas?

As of right now windows only recognizes it as 31.50gb and when I try to access it asks to format.

Slipstreaming SP2 into your XP CD should fix this problem. Google for more info on how to do this.

I have a Maxtor 120GB and 160G SATA drives and a Maxtor 250GB PATA drive. When I needed to format the 250GB I did it thru XP SP2's Disk Management. Had no problem making partitions and formatting this drive as NTFS.

Check the drive from Disk Management and see here if you have unformatted area on the drive.
