On Black Friday, I bought 4*60GB Maxtor HardDrives from CompUSSR. Some of you may remember that deal. Anyway, when I first got them, I opened the first, and tried to install windows. Didn't work. Opened the second and tried to install Windows. Didn't work. Opened the third and tried to install Windows. Didn't work. I said 'FUCK!' and figured my motherboard was b0rked. I mean, what the hell are the chances of 3 new HDD's bieng broken?
So, I went out and bought a new (POS) motherboard, and tried to install Windows on the 3 opened HDD's. Didn't work. At this point, 'Mother FUCKER!' was running through my head, several times. I figure, what the hell, let's open the fourth HDD. I open it and try to install Windows. It worked.
So now I have 3 dead HDD's and I'm wondering how Maxtor is on returns/RMA's.
Cliff Notes:
- Bought 4 HDD's
- Opened and tried installing 3 of the HDD's (Didn't work)
- Sprayed some cheap perfume on my PC so it'd smell like the dirty French Whore that it was.
- Is Maxtor any good with returns/RMA's?
