Maxline III SATA Drives @ Newegg

[qdemn7]

Well looks like the 'Egg has gotten the new Maxtor Maxline III SATA drives with Native Command Queing and a 16MB cache. The catch is the price is almost $250 shipped. Link to PDF. I guess if you need 300GB of extremely fast storage, this is the way to go. On second thought when people spend $600 on video cards and $900 or more on CPUs, I gues $250 for a 'drive isn't too bad. That's less that a buck per GB.

EDIT: Review link. It's at Txx'x Hardware.

That's actually not the MaXLine III series but the new DiamondMax 10 series. You can tell because the model number starts with 6B, not 7B. That, and the picture reveals that it's a DiamondMax 10
