Maximus VI Formula Discussion Thread

Justintoxicated, your DFI Lanparty w/PCIe 2.0 x16 and Intel Q9450 Core 2 Quad Yorkfield will probably rock a single GTX 780 and most non-cpu intensive games/apps just fine for now; but, i don't think it supports SLI. Just a thought.
 
I decided to install my ZXR in between my 680s and everything seems good so far temp wise. The ZXR gets a little warm on it's own but hopefully nothing to worry about.

I think your right but I need to build a new server, which my current computer is overkill for. figured might as well upgrade finally and let the parts trickle down (Been years now since I have even considered upgrading) :) It does not support SLI but it does support crossfire, due to nvidia not being able to convince intel that they should get paid to add SLI technology when crossfire was free :) I think Nvidia gave in on the x58, but I could have that backwards.

Kronvict, mind if i ask if you could possibly post up a shot showing the space between your gpu's please. Im waiting on a maximus VI formula coming in the mail. Ill be running gigabyte wf gtx 670's in sli so id appreciate seeing what the boards spacing is like. Ill also be using an aftermarket audio card, (asus xonar DX. The cards are currently installed in an Adus P8 Z77 V Pro board. Pic of the layout below. Audio card is above the top gpu. Thanks in advance.

 
Is it possible to use 3 pci-e x8 HBA's (IBM M1015) flashed to IT mode, no Bios, with Asus Z87-WS?
