Maximize case cooling?

Hey guys, I was wondering other than neat cables, how can I make sure I am maximizing my case cooling.

To start us off this is the case I have now.

For a while I had two fans, a 120mm intake, and 120mm exhaust fan that were running at the same speed (CFMs). On this new case, it has a slower but bigger intake at 140mm. I replaced the rear fan with a blue LED fan (120mm) to match the one in the front, and it runs at a much higher air flow then the one on the front.


So my question is this: Is it better to have a slow intake and fast exhaust, vice versa, or try to have them run around the same speed? Thanks.
 
It's debatable.

Depends on if you want positive or negative pressure in your case. With more air coming in then going out, you'll cut down on the trapped dust (air is turbulent inside the chassis and blows the dust around) than if you have more air going out.

Personally, I tend to strive to equalize the pressure a bit, but prefer more air coming in than going out if a choice is needed.
 
The 120mm fan has a high/medium/low setting on it, so I will play around with it and see what happens. I was always a bit put off by having more air coming in then going out, because it seems like the air would just sit in the case and get warm. I guess I am just looking for a good flow rate.
