Whats the difference? (Other than the obvious) When people say what the VID of their CPU is, which is typically the one used? According to RealTemp my minimum vid is 1.1625, while the max is 1.3v. It passes 10 runs of max stress intel burn test at 1.1625v bios...slightly lower in Vista/under load. Ive never heard of a max/min before this...never really looked either...always thought there was only 1 VID. TIA.

EDIT: Actual vCore was ~1.26v under load, not 1.1625v as i originally stated.

EDIT2: Barely made it semi-stable at 3.6ghz at 1.5v...one core fails after an hour of prime95...seems the real VID is definitely 1.3v.

Did you lower your Uncore multiplier? Also you need to raise QPI (VTT) voltage as you stress the memory more. I just had to go from 1.275v to 1.375v VTT to get stability back when I went from dual channel to triple channel at 3.8ghz with HT. At 4.0ghz with HT I already needed 1.375v VTT with only dual channel memory.
