What do you reckon is the max-safe Voltages I should set on an Air Cooled motherboard? I have the Abit Ip35-E motherboard with a 80mm fan blowing some parts of it.

Read the sticky?

Also, for what? CPU? NB? Etc. There's more than just one option...

VCore and northbridge mainly.. is 1.55 for the cpu 2.2 for the memory and 1.5 for the northbridge dangerous? im wanna get the best out of my components.

Perhaps you should read the specs on your hardware before cranking the voltage.

The best is not necessarily had at the point of max safe voltage.

Well I just ran orthos with a E2160 for about 20min (clocked at 3.42GHz from 1.8) and it didn't show any errors. But the temperature did raise to 70dc under 100percet load, is that bad? It's still 15dc away from the tjunction. What concerns me is will the lifespan of the components at these temps/voltages.

That is pretty high. I would try to find more of a sweet spot that is a little lower clock speed with less vcore. Either that or get some better cooling

Anyone think that 1.55v core loaded is too much for daily use on water ?
