im having problems getting it to work, im using the floppy and this is how far i got

-MAXTOR screen pops up
-ask me to accept-press F8
-then i get A:\>

what do i type after A:\>

 
I have not seen MaxBlast in years but it sounds like the batch file that should be running the program didn't go.
It should only take a couple simple DOS commands to get it going. ...unless I'm wrong.
At that A:\> prompt, type DIR and hit enter.
That will give you a list of files in that directory. Look for an .exe , .com or a .bat
If the output was too fast to read that means there was more than one screen, type DIR /WIDE or DIR /P - the /wide will list files in a couple columns and the /p will list them page by page (hit your space bar to goto the next page).

Hope that get's you started.
 
You should also be able to download it from Maxtor, and create a new floppy.
