Finally, the important stuff: how fleshed out will the banging be in the new Mass Effect game? Bioware executive Aaryn Flynn commented yesterday that the title would feature characters in their birthday suits, going so far as claiming it would be space porn. But as we all know, nudity is a sin that is a hundred times worse than gore and violence, so Mr. Flynn has already dialed back his comments after the Twitter brigade showed up.
What appears to have been a preliminary rating for Andromeda spotted by BioWare Social Network showed an M rating and mentioned "partial nudity." However, Flynn's new tweet suggests that the rating's language will be amended. With just a few more weeks to go before launch, we would expect the official rating to be published on the ESRB's website very soon. It's also possible Flynn was simply joking around. We've followed up with BioWare in an attempt to get more details. The ESRB ratings for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 3 mention "partial nudity," but Mass Effect 2's does not. Flynn went on to joke that Andromeda, which will have "pretty good banging," is "totally softcore space porn."
