I wish it was coming out sooner. MvC 2 was the best fighting game ever, and 3 looks like it's going to be equally awesome, if not moreso due to adding in some sexy new characters (Deadpool!!!). Hopefully the estimated release date of early 2011 is not extended.
 
They had a MvC3 exhibition during the EVO2010 finals yesterday. Game looks wonderful thus far.
 
I was at Evo. It's TvC with Marvel characters. If you like TvC, it's for you. Liking MvC2 has zero to do with this game. It's MvC3 for name value only.
 
Being able to play as Devil May Cry's Dante in a Capcom 2D fighter is going to be sooooo great.

I look forward to Dante but I am still wary about this Thor announcement. Doesn't seem like a good MvC character to me. Or it could still be residual disappointment from seeing those Thor screens from the movie.
 
I don't know why they chose to go with Trish from the DMC universe. Vergil would have been a much more sensible choice and fans would have loved it.
 
while I love watching the videos and always loved watching those who were good at MvC2, I simply cannot get into playing it myself. It's on another level completely as far as fighters go IMO.

Looks great.
 
Looks awesome. I remember playing the original MvC at the arcade when I was a teenager and I loved it. I will definitely pick this up.

Does this mean it's watered down move wise like TvC? i.e button for fireball/DP instead of dpad movements.....if so then that's a huge fuckin' fail.
 
sorry.... SF2 was the best game ever.... everything else has been a clone with only slight improvements.
