Ok, I just picked up a Q6600 and an EVGA 680i LT SLI board. I currently am running it at stock speeds, with 2gigs of corsair 6400 dual channel ram and a WD250gb Sata drive (not sure if its sata 2..I think it is). I installed Vista 32-bit., oh and have an EVGA 8800gtx with the latest drivers (well the latest on the site, not the beta ones)

Does anyone else have a similiar setup? and if so, what kind of scores are you getting? I ran Mark 3d06 and got a score of 3514? somewhere around there...should I be getting a much better score?

1) Synthetic benchmark scores are all but worthless.
2) They used to have a database on their website to compare your scores to others with similar systems.
3) The best way to test, is to load some games and play them.

If you ran it at the default settings and resolution than your score is horrible. Thats about the average score on a 7600gt. On my comp in sig I got 4369 on stock 8600gt video card and 5281 when oc to 667/1776.
