Mandriva LE2005 Stalls Partrioning.

Hey guys,

My Mandriva LE2005 stalls while partitioning sda7. sda5(root), sda6(swap) partition fine then it stalls on sda7.

Sdd5 is 6gb, sda6 is 1gb and sda7 is 131gb.

I already have Windows XP installed on 100gb’s of my HDD. I’m trying to install Mandriva to the remaining free un partitioned space.

It worked 6 months ago with 10.2 RC2, but that stalls as well now.



It stops at maybe 2/10s of the way finished.. I tried ArkLinux2005 RC2 but it wouldn’t find my un partitioned space.


I’m using the Mandriva Practitioner that is with the installer.


I’m quite the noob.
