I'm a total Linux newbie, so go easy on me.

Today I tried to install Mandrake 9.2 on my Athlon 64 system. I told the installer to run GDE when the system boots up, but it doesn't. It just goes to some login prompt. I can login of course, but how do I force it to run the GUI version? Thanks for the help.
