I haven't had to deal with this in a while, but I am trying to help out a friend with a particularly bad malware-infected PC. A few years ago there was a kit out there that worked incredibly well, but I cannot remember what it was called.

It was basically a bundle of several free programs and scripts (stuff like mbam, superantispyware, and a bunch of others) and it had instructions so you would do a few steps, run some of the programs, boot in safe mode, run some more things, restart, etc etc and by the time you finished the process you would have completely removed just about every kind of virus, malware, or rootkit imaginable.

Does anyone remember this? Is it still maintained/updated, or is there a good alternative?
