I am trying to set up a scheduled task on my HTPC to make it sleep. Everything I have tried so far (that I found on google) causes the computer to hibernate and not sleep. What gives?

This is what I am currently using in the task, but like I said I have tried several variations.

Scheduled Task said:
rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0

Any suggestions?

you have to disable hybernation.

Otherwise the command will put the pc in hybernate instead of stand by

As far as I know I have done that. I make sure that hibernation doesn't appear anywhere in the power plan or anything. Is there another method of disabling that I should be doing?

I believe the only way to disable hibernate is via powercfg.exe. Type this in an elevated cmd: powercfg -h off
