Hey guys, i just reformated my laptop's hd, and my buddies told me i should partion it to make it more efficient.. Its a 60 gig hd, and i was told to put 5 gigs for windows xp, and the remaining 55gigs for programs and data(ie mp3s and videos)
The main problem that just occured to me is that the 5 gig partion is not big enough for xp... After installing xp that left 3 gigs left, and then running the updates which took another gig, i was left with around 1.5 gigs left. Now this is a laptop, so to make it more efficent in booting up, i usally have it to "hibernate" when i turn off the comp, and that option alone takes another gig as well... right now i only have 250mb left .. so im thinking i might need to make the partion bigger cuz i still havent installed any of my programs yet...
Is there something i can do about this?/
