making custom length coax cable

I just put together my new TV stand and need to make some custom cables.
I have the compression crimper from Klein: http://www.kleintools.com/catalog/f...s/compression-crimper-compact-multi-connector

Do I need to use the F-connectors from Klein, or will any company do?

Any should do. Any F style connectors should work in any compression crimper. It even said so right in the description of the crimper.

it should work with most other compression connectors, I used it at work allot and not once with klein's.

the connectors are standard, just follow the directions and make sure you don't short the shield to the center

Made up my first cable and tested it (checked my modems config page). The numbers are better than before.
