Making a rig

I got a card picked out, but people have been saying there have been problems with it, especially with dual core (will be running AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+). I chose the XFX GeForce 7900 GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150149 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150150)

I would like to know what you guys think would be better of the two cards above, or any cards that would be better for about the same price.

Thanks in advance!
