The 750Ti is a 50W wonder, but that leaves a lot of perf and wattage on the table. But, the 960 maxes out at 140W according to TPU, which is a bit too much for the particular system I'm looking at. The price diff here is only $149 vs $199 (price is of little concern).

I'm thinking to down-flash a 960 from 7000 to 6000 vram, and drop the clocks from 1127 to 998, pushing the average power down to around 90W. It would still be quite a bit faster than a 750Ti due to core count.

How are the 900 bios tools, equivalent of KBT now for Maxwell?
