My pump made a higher pitch and louder noise than I cared for. Quick fix.

$2 for Nu-Foam at Wal-Mart

Oh, and this Fun Foam from Hobby Lobby sells for $1 per sheet. Works wonders as a vibration damper and it's a LOT cheaper than actual damper material

I figure the water running through that pump should cool it well enough... I mean, it does manage to cool my processor et al.
 
yeah, but water doesnt run through the motor, which is the only part that gets hot.
