make a momentary toggle switch

I guess he didn't know they make momentary toggle switches. :rolleyes: ..

Cool idea though. I would never thought to open the switch and put a momentary switch inside the housing. :)
 
since we are on the subject here, anywhere know where i can get a momentary toggle switch that would be a good replacement for PC power of drive eject button.

Bulgin are among the best momentary switches out there!
 
can anyone explain to me the on/ momentary/ off or on/off/on stuff. :D i think i;ll be needing something like off/ momentary on...right?

Correct.

You want the switch to be momentarily on. In other words, the switch is only ON when you are holding it down. As soon as you let go, it returns back OFF.
 
what are some other places, im trying to find a momentary touch switch, i dont know if that could even work but i heard something about it.
 
like a light switch that doesnt have the toggle thing, its like pressure sensitive, its just like a white strip, some are dimmers but ive seen em as on offs
